About NBG Bank Malta Ltd.

NBG Bank Malta Limited (formerly Finansbank (Malta) Limited) has been incorporated on the 12th April 2005 as a limited liability company under the Companies Act 1995 as enacted in Malta, thereafter on the 30th June 2005 it has been granted a license by the Malta Financial Services Authority to carry out the business of banking as defined in the Banking Act, 1994.

The authorized share capital of the Bank is € 500 million divided into 50 million Ordinary Shares of € 10 (ten Euros) each. The issued share capital of the Company is € 175 million, which have all been subscribed, allotted and taken up, 100% paid up, as follows:

NBG (Malta) Holdings Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of NBG International Holdings B.V. (Company registration no. 34231579), a company incorporated in the Netherlands which in turn is wholly owned by National Bank of Greece S.A.

The Board of Directors of NBG Bank Malta consists of four directors, including the Chairman. The current directors of the company are:

• Mr. Cenk Kahraman (Managing Director);
• Mr. George Derbentlis (Executive Director);and
• Mr. Konstantinos Bratos (Non executive Director).

The Bank is designed to be a fast serving, efficient and flexible corporate banking unit. The customer base consists of small and medium enterprises, large corporate clients and high net worth individuals.

The Bank is a participant in the Depositor Compensation scheme established under the Laws of Malta. The Scheme is based on the EU Directive 94/19 on deposit-guarantee schemes.

NBG Bank Malta is also a member of the Malta Bankers Association and FinanceMalta.
